Impact: As part of a first-year list-building campaign themed around Doctor's Appreciation Month, the MLK Community Health Foundation relied on me to create the story, email copy, calls to action, and social media messaging featuring one of the hospital's affiliated doctors.

The article was well-received by hospital stakeholders and on social media, generating above-average engagement on Facebook with 133 "likes," five comments and 21 shares. Although these numbers are modest when compared to, say, a national or regional brand, they are top tier for the local, community hospital.

The campaign also exceeded its acquistion goal.

Another valuable impact of my work on this campaign: it helped to solidify storytelling as the leading driver for the hospital foundation's donor outreach.

Impact: I worked with Northwest Hardwood from 2017 to 2021, creating original blog and social media content. NWH uses content marketing primarily to provide useful material for its wholesale customers: lumber suppliers who sell direct to customers. Our work focused on sharing use cases for hardwoods in both residential and commercial construction. By offering helpful, consumer-focused information and trends, we provided fodder for NWH customers to share downstream. The white paper will be used in a B2B lead generation campaign.

Impact: This local Oregon landscape and nursery retailer hired us to generate leads for its residential landscape business. The strategy of the campaign was directed by the client. Our work was in executing on the plan. My work involved writing original copy to describe the potential of landscape design in neighborhoods throughout the Portland metro area. I also wrote specific parts of the landing page relating to conversion as well as the display ads.
